There’s always something to howl about

Sicker Than We Thought????

Here it is…a diagnosis that’s supposed to bring us back to reality. Lawrence Yun might be certified as something, but he’s done quite enough “doctoring” for me.

These guys just doubled our dues so why not double count sales? Now that they have reset sales lower, why not reset dues lower? After all, their revenue grab was based on false member income assumptions. Just sayin’.

Had to heave that bag off my sleigh so it didn’t weigh me down. When these guys are involved I’m always saying “Common Man”….

But now I just want to wish you, and all the Bloodhounds and readers a very Merry Christmas. For those of us of faith, a special time, and for those who simply carry goodwill and joy in their hearts….amazing as well.

    God Bless you all.

I’m the most faithless guy you’ll ever likely meet, Don, but I too find us blessed. However it came to be, that’s the true nature of our lives. Merry Christmas to you, yours and all.

Is NAR just going to admit the mistake and move on? Yun should be allowed to resign.

You know, the double counting scheme isn’t new nor is it even news. Double counted sales figure were exposed as early as 2007 by various bloggers and (for lack of a better term) “doom and gloomers.”

Its just now that the NAR has come to terms with this. Kudos to the NAR and Yun for finally admitting what (almost) everyone already knew. This will help rebuild their credibility, and that of the industry, which is sorely needed.

I await the day when I can walk up to a realtor and ask “is now a good time to buy” and the answer is more than simply a self-serving, commission-chasing “It’s a great time to buy.”

Cheers and happy holidays to all.

Cheers to you as well, Robert.

As for Yun and rebuilding credibility….I think that’s a bit of pie in the sky stuff. Remember the old adage: “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.”

    I don’t think I’ll be fooled again.

    Happy New Year to you……
