There’s always something to howl about

What could be more important than television?

I had a dental dilemma yesterday, and it’s left me less than useful. I’m working — I wrote a contract earlier this evening — but I’m housebound for now. It gives me time to post, for a change, and this is an important topic that I’ve wanted to take on for quite some time.

The issue?

Television.

I almost never make time for it, and then not regularly, but there are exceptions in my life (facilitated by on-line and on-demand re-runs).

Thus:

1. Glee. Incomparable harmonies. Preciously POMO, but still deliciously rude. Corollary: Baseball sucks. Cut it out.

2. Madmen. Will Donald Draper defenestrate this Sunday?

3. South Park. I have concluded that Leopold Stotch (”Butters”) is the glue that holds the show together.

I would like to have something of moment to say about Entourage, which we always enjoy when we see it, but I’m too cheap to pay for HBO.

I’ll vote for South Park. I wasn’t sure about you, but now I know…….

Of the shows you listed I only watch Glee. I love this show for the pure escape it offers. The Cheer leading coach is just a blast, and the funny thing is that I have known several people who are toned down versions of that character so she just hits home with me every time.

This show offers me a welcome break from the real estate business. I have to say at first I was also liking the Vampire Diaries but the show is not measuring up to True Blood which I am too cheep to pay for but have managed to see all the first season and part of the second.

Hope the dental issues get better soon.

      Jim

All three of those shows I find intersting but what about Flash Forward - I nearly died when my IQ box failed to record!!! I’ve missed the last episode…bummer!

I handled television by canceling my cable subscription 5 years ago.

The only show you mention I’ve ever heard of is South Park. While I admit to being media impaired regarding television, I’m even more incredulous you do all you do and still see any TV at all.
