Has anyone built a better Bluetooth headset?
I’ve burned up three Jawbone IIs in the past two years. Has anyone come up with a better Bluetooth headset that I should be looking into?

Greg,
I use the Samsung WEP 200. I like it’s light weight and durability. I have two because the battery power can’t support my talkative days. The drawback is that when outside, it picks up wind noise.
Just my 2 cents worth….
Tom
The Plantronics Discovery 925 is the best I have used. I have bought for two other realtors and they love it too. Long life, aux charger, excellent clarity.
Would love to be able to use bluetooth, but hearing aids fit over ears. Anyone have a solution, or brand dealing with that? Thanks
I swear by plantronics pro . That may be the 925 model not sure. Just get their most expensive model.
Glad you asked the question because I have the same issue – thaks for all the recommendations!
This may seem like an odd question (then again, coming from someone who occasionally wears a tin foil hat…): does anyone worry about having these wireless little gems stuck in their ear and next to their brain all day?
I have been VERY happy with the Plantronics Voyager 510.
I used a Jawbone until yesterday when I bought the Jabra Stone. So far I love it! Feels like a part of my ear and does not fall off like the Jawbon routinely did. Battery lasts longer too! It’s got the same noise cancellation technology of the Jawbone. Comes in very handy when you’re multi-tasking and/or running the kids to the pool in the summer!
Plantronics Voyager 510 is the way to go been using it for quite some time now.
I have had a Plantronics for about 3 to 4 years that fits over my head with an ear piece on one side. I don’t know the model number since it is difficult to get to the bottom of the base (it is attached to my desk).
I’m sure that they have much nicer units now but I’m posting to let you know that this brand has worked perfectly for me for a long time.
I would buy another one! Good customer service too.
We went with the Jabra Stone. Price, performance, weight, style — it seemed like the best bet overall. Second choice was the Plantronics 975.
Thanks for all the help. If I find I especially love or hate the Stone, I’ll be sure to say so.
Newer Bluetooth headsets support two connections, so I plan to start carrying the Batphone all the time now. Best of both worlds: I can make a point of not answerign my iPhone when I’m with clients and still have a way of taking the calls I can’t miss — e.g., dilatory showing instructions.
