How Google Blogsearch ranks weblog posts . . .

ProBlogger. Long, detailed post, but this stands out: Far from being a bad thing, blogrolling matters a lot. No telling how Blogsearch affects the main search engine, but it’s reasonable to surmise that they at least confer with each other.

      I’m a huge fan of Mar Notz and his code of ethics http://www.code-of-ethics.org/. Seems there is a lot of discussion whether blogrolling is good vs evil. I’m still up in the air over it, so I appreciate the post.

      Thanks for the heads-up on that one. I clicked through and read Alister Cameron’s entire post – wow, that’s a lot of good information. It’s funny though, that repeated throughout the length of the post, intermingled among all the details of Google’s behind-the-curtain operations, is the same message we’ve all come to live by – Content is king! If you build it (good enough and consistently), they will come…
