David Brooks of the New York Times on FannieMae: “Washington is home to a vertiginous tangle of industry associations, activist groups, think tanks and communications shops. These forces have overwhelmed the government that was originally conceived by the founders.”

      Wow. Somebody must’ve been asleep at the switch. That’s about the only hope for our society—looters and moochers tend to fall asleep at the switch.

      Not a bad idea, Jeff. We can sit on the stage and have the paying customers play their own instruments. And maybe get a grant, to boot.
