Daniel Rothamel has managed to set up an event called NAR BloggerCon. I can’t figure out who’s getting conned, but I’m eager to find out.
Cathy and I are flying in and out for the event — my favorite way of going anywhere.

I’m also a day tripper – in and out. How much evening time do you think I should allow for the Con? If I book the 8:05 pm flight out on the 12th, does that seem like enough time? Next choice is 9:20 pm out. After that seems too late.

We found out early on that most people were coming in at different times with the majority coming in late tuesday or wednesday some time. We’ve set up a way to meet different bloggers at different times during the event. I just booked a flight. Arrive at 4:35PM, fly out at 9:20PM. I have zero interest in the NAR convention … but seeing Greg and other favorite bloggers, I am so there.
Michael, if I understand correctly, other than making a room available, “they” aren’t sponsoring this event. It’s off-off-off Broadway.

It’s amazing what holding a bloggercon will do for a REALTOR convention. At VAR’s convention, we had what I hope will be a mini version of this bloggercon. Eight of the ten or so participants would not have attended the convention if not for the bloggercon. I’m excited by what Daniel has done, and I will see you there.
