There’s always something to howl about

Thwat?

Sorry everyone…The writing around here over the past 12 hours or so has been nutty good and really high brow, so I feel a little bad about taking it down a level.

But… this is just too fun to let slip by without sharing? From Inman, in probably thousands of inboxes this morning:

Ryan – is there another link to Inman for the Sunday Edition? Can’t find that story…

      Joe,

It was in the beginning of the email, an ad to follow them on twitter…

I’ll forward you the whole email…

I was thinking yesterday that InmanSF is coming up, which in our world means a cutthroat competition to determine who will win this year’s Not-BloodhoundBlog Award. (Last year’s winner? The League of Creative Spellers. Two years ago? Uh…) I don’t know where to go from here, but it would be fun to have some fun with this. I’ve deliberately painted Inman News into a corner, so that they have to ignore the most consistently interesting show in the RE.net. Tweaking them over it is an endless source of fun.

(Note to inlookers: Do not nominate BloodhoundBlog for an Innovator Award. If the Inmaniacs are stoopid enough to accept the nomination, I will decline it, which will be embarrassing for them — and shilling for Brad Inman is embarrassing enough. And if they accidentally gave us the award anyway, as improbable as that seems, I would renounce it. This would be rude, but we don’t do beauty contests, period. Everything we do is about innovation in excellence. That’s all I care about.)

But: Back to the jokes: What can we do with this? The Vendorslut Prize? Might be kind of tough to thin the herd. Do y’all have any ideas?

      This just in from Inman…

“…users are now wondering if you sit on my Facebook long enough…..”

Oh, Ryan, you have me laughing out loud again. And, NO, you aren’t the only one with a dirty mind. (By the way, I’m off to church now to have some of the remnants of your gonzo thoughts purged).

Hooray! Someone else who thinks like me…

…Did I just say that out loud?

Reminds me of the guy back in the day flying Trans World Air. When asked what he would like to drink, he said, “I’d like to have some of your TWA tea.”

The flight attendant was an attractive female, I might add.

This is good to know since we almost had Geno Petro in a long black dress http://tinyurl.com/n6cxud

Very crude Inmann, funny but crude.

Keep it up Ryan. Love it.

I’ll take poor choice of phrasing for $100 Alex! That’s funny. Another reason why you should read aloud anything you post.
