A lot of work, a lot of posts, a lot of linking, a lot of links back: A lot of authority . . .

We have a long way to go, but this is a milestone we’ve been watching for…

My prediction #6 comes true. We are lucky to have such prolific “big dogs” among us.

Thanks. For the record, RCG has had “a lot of authority” for quite some time.

Thanks for pointing that out… I hadn’t checked that in a while and didn’t notice that RCG went from “some authority” to “a lot of authority”. Congrats to both our teams! :)

Congratulations to all of you here at BloodhoundBlog. I actually snuck over to get out of the rain. I do that from time to time :) It’s hailing over at RCG. I mean it’s snowy and icey in Seattle :)

Cold and spitting rain here. I think we should get a tax abatement for days like this.

    6. [...] More milestoney is the fact that Technorati now recognizes Bloodhound as having “a lot of authority”. Sellsius and RCG also have a lot of authority. Congrats to all, but we don’t need Technorati to tell us you guys have authority in the Blogiverse. [...]

It’s funny how latent these rankings are. Why is it that the people of the real estate blogosphere would have assigned the ‘Hound “a lot of authority” 6 months ago, but Technorati only figures is out now? The algorithms are tricky, I suppose.

The next question is, does this change drive a notable increase in traffic? Is it effective as getting a bump from Google PageRank 2 to 5? (Which I think you also got in the latest Google update…)
