When we put together BloodhoundBlog Unchained In Phoenix, last Spring, we were gifted with the magnificent beneficence of Zillow.com. In consequence, we spent money like a college freshman with a Visa card. We knew Unchained in Orlando was going to have to be a leaner affair — and after this fall’s market collapse, it got […]

Teri Lussier paid me a very high compliment today in email, although I’m sure that’s wasn’t her intent. I expect she was just being matter-of-fact. Here’s what she said: You don’t do anything without a purpose. She was asking why I phrase so many headlines in the form of a question, assuming correctly that I […]
Anyone who has read this satirical piece knows that my writing turned macabre this past year. One weekend, one book, one article, and one website dramatically changed the way I look at the world and it inhabitants. I’ve heard from a number of people privately asking about the prospects for another BloodhoundBlog Unchained in Phoenix this May. So far I’ve not done anything about this — this for a couple of reasons. First, I don’t know what to do in terms of content. We’re doing a lot of interesting things, but I’m […]

You ever walk into a room that crackles with energy? Ever had the privilege of hanging out with the very best at anything? You know that synergy that ignites and sparks ideas and discussion? Hanging out with the Bloodhounds was an incredible experience for that. Watching these minds toss out ideas and information to each other, was a real treat. Yeah, I was there, but I felt more like a fly on the wall most times- I can’t keep up with these guys. They would dial back occasionally, just as my brain exploded, tangent off to another subject and- cue the squealing tires- 0-60 in 3 seconds. These are Ferrari brains, Lamborghini brains, I have a minivan brain.
