{"id":14512,"date":"2011-04-29T11:44:58","date_gmt":"2011-04-29T18:44:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=14512"},"modified":"2011-04-29T11:44:58","modified_gmt":"2011-04-29T18:44:58","slug":"its-time-to-think-about-money-brian-bradys-money","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/14512\/its-time-to-think-about-money-brian-bradys-money\/","title":{"rendered":"It&#8217;s Time To Think About&#8230;Money&#8230;Brian Brady&#8217;s Money"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re going to take a brief break from the political apocalypse that surrounds us and deal with money.<\/p>\n<p>Your Money.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m something of a master at listening on Twitter. \u00a0When someone says &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/search.twitter.com\/search?q=%22after+effects%22+recommend\">After effect<\/a>s&#8221; \u00a0or &#8220;motion graphics&#8221; I&#8217;m there. \u00a0There are a dozen or so other ones that work much better, but you get the picture. \u00a0I&#8217;m unlikely to share them.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s what&#8217;s building <a href=\"http:\/\/simplifilm.com\">Simplifilm.com<\/a> (our work is <a href=\"http:\/\/vimeo.com\/simplifilm\">here<\/a>, I&#8217;ll share some good stuff sometime soon).<\/p>\n<p>I have dozens running on my tweetdeck. \u00a0I pitch a few times a day. \u00a0It works.<\/p>\n<p>Now, I learned something that Brian Brady better use.<\/p>\n<p>The phrase <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/#!\/search\/new%20client\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;New Client,&#8221;<\/a> and &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/#!\/search\/%22new%20buyer%22\">New Buyer,<\/a>&#8221; are tweeted a few hundred times a day.<\/p>\n<p>Over hundred times &#8211; 1\/3 they are Realtors pandering for Approbation. \u00a0&#8220;Look at me, I have a client.&#8221; \u00a0Most of the time, it&#8217;s a buyer. \u00a0A buyer that needs a mother\u00a0frolicking\u00a0mortgage loan.<\/p>\n<p>What if a great lender, googled, called, and then offered the Realtor approval? \u00a0What if that lender played dumb and pretended they didn&#8217;t see things on Twitter, but had a polished, refined pitch?<\/p>\n<p>Fish in a barrel. \u00a0Takes seconds to skim, minutes to sort, and needy people are forever most easily persuaded.<\/p>\n<p>Also: if you have clients- shut up about them. \u00a0Marketers brag about new, unsigned clients. \u00a0I appreciate them identifying who is in the market for me, saves me the research. \u00a0(Be silent, or be better than silence).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re going to take a brief break from the political apocalypse that surrounds us and deal with money.
