Active Rain is a social networking site comprised of some 20,000 members in the real estate and related industries.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em> The ActiveRain Real Estate Network is a <strong>free<\/strong> online community for real estate         professionals designed to help them promote and grow their business. <\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>We celebrated Active Rain&#8217;s first year in business in Southern California last week at Parker&#8217;s Lighthouse in Long Beach, CA .  Close to 100 people came to join Jon Washburn and Matt Heaton celebrate.
