The title of my talk &#8212; &#8220;Ontologically-Consonant Teleology&#8221; &#8212; was a joke, an early intimation that I intended to be dry, pedantic and boring. In reality, I gave them my pure schtick, hard-core egoism delivered with a garage-band attitude.<\/p>\n<p>I enjoyed myself hugely, but I always enjoy myself when I get a chance to speak in public. The audience dug it, too, judging from the reactions during and after my presentation.<\/p>\n<p>I want more opportunities like this.
