Same old\u00a0gas&#8230;\u201d<\/p><\/div>What&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=%22great+reshuffling%22&#038;sxsrf=ALeKk02Le88qm1unlnmsQSEc92mi_0dBDQ:1618220856500&#038;source=lnms&#038;tbm=nws&#038;sa=X&#038;ved=2ahUKEwja-sa6tvjvAhUkHzQIHVa1CjYQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&#038;biw=1210&#038;bih=799\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;The Great Reshuffling&#8221;<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p>That, apparently, is the name that is to be given to the lies about why so many Americans have moved since May 25th, 2020. Given the way these propaganda campaigns go, I would look into Critical Theory or &#8220;Great Reset&#8221; literature for the origin of the term.<\/p>\n<p>I linked Saturday to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2021\/04\/09\/zillow-president-sees-home-listings-increasing-as-covid-certainty-grows.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Zillow making absurd predictions about the rest of the year<\/a> \u2013 all the while neglecting the riots, just as all of real estate media has affected to have ignored the riots. Bad news, prognosticators: The riots are back.<\/p>\n<p>What should you expect? More of the same, very likely:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rioted cities will continue to bleed their remote-work-capable Ants.<\/li>\n<li>Inventories in target cities will tighten even more, since effectively <em><u>ZERO<\/u><\/em> current homeowners will elect to sell into this maelstrom.<\/li>\n<li>The real estate press, most especially the PR operations at Zillow and Redfin, will continue to obscure the devastation in the abandoned neighborhoods of the rioted cities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/17852\/overnight-news-the-price-pressure-is-inflation-but-the-underlying-demand-highly-localized-is-fear\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">This is me in February<\/a>, telling the actual truth about &#8220;The Great Reshuffling&#8221; before the lie had even been cooked up:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I can\u2019t defend that claim because it is not being documented by the real estate press, but it will turn out that rioted cities will have lost population to non-rioted cities, that more-suburban areas in rioted cities will have gained where more-urban areas will have lost, and that, generally, people will have moved from D- and C-quality housing to B- and A-rated domiciles \u2013 leaving many empty former-residences behind them.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>All of this will express itself further as the flight-from-Grasshopperism moves into smaller (hence cheaper) communities and, eventually, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/18025\/overnight-news-the-full-uruguay-intellectual-capital-is-now-transnational-and-so-are-commercial-and-residential-real-estate\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">beyond these shores<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I used to say, &#8220;They can&#8217;t enslave us if they can&#8217;t catch us.&#8221; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/16746\/why-for-the-first-time-in-human-history-can-the-ants-so-easily-escape-the-grasshoppers-thats-easy-the-internet\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ants are running farther and faster than ever before<\/a> \u2013 and their flight to safety will not stop, not soon and perhaps not ever.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>In other news:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The New York Post:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/04\/12\/national-guard-deployed-in-minneapolis-after-fatal-police-shooting\/?utm_source=maropost&#038;utm_medium=email&#038;utm_campaign=nypdaily&#038;utm_content=20210412&#038;tpcc=morning_report&#038;mpweb=755-9345303-711690305\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">National Guard deployed in Minneapolis after fatal police shooting of Daunte Wright.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>CBS News:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/corporate-ceos-meet-voting-law-discussion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">First-of-its-kind meeting draws more than 100 corporate leaders to discuss state voting laws.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>The New York Post:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/04\/10\/atlanta-cops-beg-residents-to-stop-shooting-each-other\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Atlanta cops beg residents to stop shooting each other in new <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/18043\/overnight-news-if-you-cannot-possibly-admit-that-the-ants-are-fleeing-the-grasshoppers-what-do-you-call-the-last-year-the-great-reshuffling\/#more-18043\" class=\"more-link\">Read more<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cOld lies?
