\u201cIf you can hear the neighbors up the block beating their dogs and you do nothing about it \u2013 what does that make\u00a0you?\u201d<\/p><\/div>Yesterday in Cuba people were doing the work Americans won’t: Fighting for their freedom. The New York Times<\/em> is correct in describing this conduct as ‘anti-government’ \u2013 just as the January 6th protests were anti-THIS<\/em>-government. In both countries, the protesters love their country but hate its predatory salve-masters.<\/p>\n

The difference? This is the very best \u2018anti-government slogan\u2019 I have heard so far: A Cuban protestor to a commie thug: \u201cShoot me in the chest, motherfucker!\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

I don’t drink, but I am delighted to shout \u201cCuba libre!\u201d<\/em> Every Marxist dictatorship shames the allegedly civilized, but for America to turn a blind eye to tyranny ninety miles from its shores \u2013 to shun a people who have given us so much \u2013 this is a stain as ugly any in our history.<\/p>\n
