{"id":235,"date":"2006-08-23T08:02:30","date_gmt":"2006-08-23T15:02:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=235"},"modified":"2006-08-23T08:06:23","modified_gmt":"2006-08-23T15:06:23","slug":"were-number-seven","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/235\/were-number-seven\/","title":{"rendered":"We&#8217;re number seven?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Maybe not. <a href=\"http:\/\/images.businessweek.com\/ss\/06\/08\/housing\/index_01.htm\" target=\"_blank\">BusinessWeek<\/a> has the Phoenix\/Mesa metropolitan area as the seventh healthiest real estate market in the country &#8212; but since their analysis is based on year-over-year appreciation, that news is not nearly a momentous as it portends to be. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/MarketBasket.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Using our own numbers<\/a>, yearover-year through July we&#8217;re up 0.57% &#8212; essentially nothing. That number may go negative for August. The good news is that the homes listed by loosely-motivated sellers seem to be coming off the market.
