I blog for leads. Even now, I’m attempting to share some knowledge with my target audience in hopes that one will pick up the phone and say, “I want to do business with you”. Marketing communications (and blogging IS a form of marketing communication), are designed to garner potential customers. Many will proclaim that blogging is different; they are lying by omission. Pour a bunch of liquor in them and ask them why they blog. Eventually, you’ll hear the phrase “to communicate with existing and potential customers” in their response.<\/p>\n
Dustin Luther and I discussed this at the Inman Connect NYC Conferenc<\/a>e, a month ago.
