What&#8217;s really going on is that he&#8217;s been doing the talking\u00a0while\u00a0I&#8217;ve been doing the whining, just like a lot of us in real estate.\u00a0What he didn&#8217;t tell you is that he gave me a much needed swift kick in the arse. He gave me some great practical advice on networking, and\u00a0he challenged me to create a bigger Twitter channel than he. I&#8217;m up for the challenge- how can I lose? So what if Brian gets more channels than I, what did I lose? I now have more connections and contacts than I did before. Tell me again what I lost?<\/p>\n<p>From Brian to me, from me to you: Bad market? Okay fine. So what are you going to do about it? I&#8217;m still pretty new to all this, Dayton isn&#8217;t the easiest place to be selling homes right now- so what? I&#8217;ve still got a job to do, I need to do it.<\/p>\n<p>How can you spend\u00a0anytime reading\u00a0in the real estate blogiverse and not <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=1487\" title=\"dancing\">be inspired<\/a>? <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=2673\" title=\"Monk is jazz\">Jazzed<\/a>? <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wired.com\/techbiz\/it\/magazine\/16-03\/ff_free\" title=\"Free!\">Excited<\/a>? <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=2509\" title=\"twit\">Twitterpated<\/a>? Are you really that stubborn? I was going to say pig headed, but I don&#8217;t want to offend anyone.<\/p>\n<p>Five great ideas: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=2691\" title=\"Brian's a-twitter\">Brian<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=2702\" title=\"Greg's idea \">Greg<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=2676\" title=\"pretty houses\">James<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/agentgenius.com\/?p=1333\" title=\"pretty pictures\">Teresa<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.mariah.com\/2008\/03\/how-i-created-eighteen-high-value-networking-relationships-with-real-estate-agents-in-three-months-using-my-other-mortgage-blog\/\" title=\"Todd gets it\">Todd<\/a>&#8211; within a week? Are you kidding me? Who am I missing? Who else has offered up inspiration\u00a0the last few days or months? Where are you getting inspiration? Have you tried any of these ideas or are you simply showing up to whine about them? Are you waiting for someone else to make it work, then you will monkey-see, monkey-do, or are you engaging your brain- coming up with your own twist to ensure that something does work for you?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I remember, back in the day, when Greg wrote about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=1222\" title=\"listings\">blogging about listings<\/a>, but I sat on my <strike>ass<\/strike> hands and did\u00a0little about it. I remember when Jeff wrote about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=2048\" title=\"Jeff knocks me over with a feather\">hyperlocal blogging and getting out there and door knocking<\/a>, again I\u00a0sat on that information.
