Which is not to imply that reaction to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2006\/09\/03\/business\/yourmoney\/03real.html?pagewanted=1&#038;adxnnl=0&#038;adxnnlx=1157290219-80WIIW+qGs5tqCNxw08ReQ\" target=\"_blank\">the <i>New York Times<\/i> article<\/a> is universally negative: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.therealestatebloggers.com\/2006\/09\/04\/the-noose-is-tightening-on-the-6-percent-commission\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Real Estate Bloggers<\/a> loved it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ardell.realtownblogs.com\/industry-talk\/negotiating-commissions\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ardell has ideas on training agents to negotiate commissions equitably<\/a>. In contrast to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.redfin.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Red<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.zillow.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">zilla<\/a>, a matinee monster at best, Ardell&#8217;s ideas combined with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.raincityguide.com\/2006\/08\/27\/it-may-be-broken-but-heres-a-plan-to-fix-it\/\" target=\"_blank\">the innovations outlined by Eileen Tefft at Rain City Guide<\/a> suggest a truly <i>new<\/i> business model for real estate brokerage.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.ubertor.com\/?p=339\" target=\"_blank\">Stephen Jagger at Ubertor raises some additional points<\/a> on the subject of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=273\" target=\"_blank\">building custom web sites for home listings<\/a>. I promise to come back to this topic sometime soon. There are four categories of clients for these custom web sites, and so far we&#8217;ve only talked about two of them. In the mean time, though, I think Ubertor builds gorgeous web sites.<\/p>\n<p>ZillowTalk: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chitownliving.com\/blog\/2006\/09\/03\/zillow-poll\/\" target=\"_blank\">ChitownLiving<\/a> on the <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.sellsiusrealestate.com\/?p=1874\" target=\"_blank\">Sellsius&#038;176; poll results<\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/truenorthrealty.blogspot.com\/2006\/09\/sellsius-zillow-poll-results-agents.html\" target=\"_blank\">Michael Daly at the Hamptons Real Estate Blog<\/a> explores the consequences of hubris in business. My own name is mud on <a href=\"http:\/\/nyhouses4sale.typepad.com\/ny_houses_4_sale\/2006\/08\/i_got_zillowed_.html\" target=\"_blank\">both<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/sandiegohomeblog.com\/2006\/09\/03\/guilty-by-association\/\" target=\"_blank\">coasts<\/a>, so I&#8217;ll do what I can to make things worse.
