{"id":3341,"date":"2008-07-09T02:23:43","date_gmt":"2008-07-09T09:23:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=3341"},"modified":"2008-07-09T02:23:43","modified_gmt":"2008-07-09T09:23:43","slug":"gagging-on-the-kool-aid-active-rains-rolls-out-new-localismcom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/3341\/gagging-on-the-kool-aid-active-rains-rolls-out-new-localismcom\/","title":{"rendered":"Gagging on the Kool Aid:  Active Rains rolls out new Localism.com"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I owe a lot to <a title=\"Active Rain\" href=\"http:\/\/Aactiverain.com\" target=\"_blank\">Active Rain<\/a>,\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I learned\u00a0about blogging in general.<\/li>\n<li>I found Bloodhound Blog through following Terri and Greg during Project Blogger.\u00a0 (and many other great blogs)<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;ve generated business from converted leads.<\/li>\n<li>And\u00a0made really good friends.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0But this morning I&#8217;m feeling a little nauseous after the much anticipated revamp of <a title=\"Localism powered by Active Rain\" href=\"http:\/\/Localism.com\" target=\"_blank\">Localism<\/a>,\u00a0The redesign is neutral and simple, with a few twist in navigation still needed.\u00a0 \u00a0I would have rather paid for an &#8220;outside blog&#8221; than <a title=\"Localism - purchase communties\" href=\"http:\/\/localism.com\/sponsor\" target=\"_blank\">purchased &#8220;communities<\/a>&#8220;.\u00a0 Maybe buying\u00a0the way to the top as a community sponsor will actually reduce some of the crud posting just for points, but right now I&#8217;m having very mixed feelings about continuing to drink the Kool Aid.\u00a0 Maybe I just need sleep.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I owe a lot to Active Rain,\u00a0 I learned\u00a0about blogging in general.
