Part 3.1: The Solution"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>This final post (Part 3) grew rather lengthy.\u00a0 Considering the fact this has already stretched into a three-part series, I chose to extend the series to five rather than attempt a conclusion of\u00a0 somnolent proportions.\u00a0 If <a title=\"Shakespeare Quotes\" href=\"http:\/\/absoluteshakespeare.com\/trivia\/quotes\/quotes.htm\" target=\"_blank\">brevity is the soul of wit<\/a>, creating a new model for real estate is <strong>witless<\/strong>.\u00a0 So grab a cup of coffee or your favorite bagel and settle in.\u00a0 Fairly warned be thee, says I&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Preamble<\/strong><br \/>\nIn <a title=\"Disbrokeration\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=3535\" target=\"_blank\">Part 1: Disbrokeration<\/a>, I looked at the problems that exist within the current, brokerage-based real estate model.\u00a0 The shift to a 2.0 world is making the traditional position of broker obsolete.\u00a0 The tax advantaged laws that helped create this model now create a drain on the industry and the level of professionalism is widely perceived to be at an all time low.\u00a0 This is a topic of some concern, as the most popular response to the current state of affairs is more legislation, more licensing and more efforts to validate capability through pernicious membership rather than actual results.\u00a0 As <a title=\"Albert Einstein\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Albert_Einstein\" target=\"_blank\">Big Al<\/a> said: &#8220;<a title=\"Einstein quotes\" href=\"http:\/\/www.einstein-quotes.com\/content\/view\/23\/37\/\" target=\"_blank\">We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In <a title=\"Super Teams\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=3556\" target=\"_blank\">Part 2: Super Teams<\/a>, I looked at a natural progression that is already occurring in our industry: Real Estate Teams.\u00a0 I took that notion further and looked at how a Super Team might be constructed.\u00a0 There was also a link to some great writing on the concept by Mike Farmer.\u00a0 There are some problems with the Super Teams though.\u00a0 They do not go far enough in dealing with issues of independent contractor status, education, professionalism and image.\u00a0 Their success depends upon either a self-less communal work effort or a strong, unique figurehead to hold all the pieces together.\u00a0 The former is not realistic across an entire industry and the latter is too uncommon.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Outline<\/strong><br \/>\nIt is time to outline a new model for the real estate industry.\u00a0 I believe the following to be a reasonable list of minimum expectations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The new model should account for the natural desire in many people to achieve.\u00a0 It might even embrace the concept that a great many people enter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/3617\/the-new-real-estate-model-part-3\/#more-3617\" class=\"more-link\">Read more<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This final post (Part 3) grew rather lengthy.\u00a0 Considering the fact this has already stretched into a three-part series, I chose to extend the series to five rather than attempt a conclusion of\u00a0 somnolent proportions.\u00a0 If brevity is the soul of wit, creating a new model for real estate is witless.\u00a0 So grab a cup [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":36,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_crdt_document":"","jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_dont_email_post_to_subs":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[4,5,10],"tags":[],"class_list":{"0":"post-3617","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"hentry","6":"category-disintermediation","7":"category-real-estate","8":"category-realty-reality","10":"no-featured-image"},"jetpack_featured_media_url":"","jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"jetpack-related-posts":[{"id":672,"url":"https:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/672\/model-realtors-will-real-estate-sell-for-higher-prices-in-the-company-of-a-stunningly-beautiful-super-model-and-what-should-you-do-about-the-drool\/","url_meta":{"origin":3617,"position":0},"title":"Will real estate sell for higher prices in the company of a stunningly beautiful super model?
