{"id":4047,"date":"2008-08-22T13:34:18","date_gmt":"2008-08-22T20:34:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=4047"},"modified":"2008-08-22T13:34:18","modified_gmt":"2008-08-22T20:34:18","slug":"aufedersein-lip-syncher","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/4047\/aufedersein-lip-syncher\/","title":{"rendered":"Aufedersein Lip Syncher!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>&#8230; and now back to our regularly scheduled program &#8211; sorry for the technical difficulties!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"Garamond;\">True Confessions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"Garamond;\">I am a reality TV junkie &#8211; American Idol, Big Brother, Top Chef, Flipping Out, Million Dollar Listing and of course Project Runway &#8211; glad I have DDR &#8211; there are others &#8211; but these I won&#8217;t miss &#8211; even for a showing request &#8211; kidding &#8211; of <em>course<\/em>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"Garamond;\">I eat lunch at Costco &#8211; I sample the samples.\u00a0 Don&#8217;t knock it &#8211; I have seen many of my astute colleagues binging off of the sample trays too, only I openly admit it &#8211; I have no shame.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"Garamond;\">I love country music.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"Garamond;\">Being an American Idol fan, I sing Daughtry and Carrie Underwood at the top of lungs in the car &#8211; sometimes &#8211; unknowingly &#8211; with the sunroof open &#8211; windows down &#8211; stopped at traffic lights &#8211; allegedly.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"0in 0in 0.0001pt;\">\n<p style=\"0in 0in 0.0001pt;\"><span style=\"Garamond;\">* cleansing breath* <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"0in 0in 0.0001pt;\">\n<p style=\"0in 0in 0.0001pt;\"><span style=\"Garamond;\">That was so cathartic &#8211; and so much better than kneeling behind a curtain in a small, dark box filled with the distinct aroma of peppermint schnapps.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"0in 0in 0.0001pt;\">\n<p style=\"0in 0in 0.0001pt;\"><span style=\"Garamond;\">Yesterday, one of my esteemed colleagues made the mistake of confirming my delusional rock star status.\u00a0 I have one of eleven listings in a high rise on the famed Lake Shore Drive &#8211; great unit, smartly updated I might add.\u00a0 Glorious views and a terrific value &#8211; yet in a building that can be a challenge in which to sell.\u00a0 Traffic up until now has been sporadic if non-existent.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"0in 0in 0.0001pt;\">\n<p style=\"0in 0in 0.0001pt;\"><span style=\"Garamond;\">Two weeks ago, in an attempt to generate buyer traffic, I decided to coordinate a joint building open house.\u00a0 Not an uncommon marketing tactic &#8211; contact all of the other listing agents, get them all to agree to a time and a date &#8211; encourage everyone to market the open house independently and <em>VOILA!<\/em> Buyers!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"0in 0in 0.0001pt;\"><span style=\"Garamond;\">I put together a joint marketing piece highlighting the fact that there would be nine units open, committed to an ad in The Tribune.\u00a0 I&#8217;d do it for my client anyway, so why not for the other units?\u00a0 Hopefully we can generate greater power in numbers.\u00a0 Well &#8211; needless to say, buyers did come.\u00a0 I had 20 visitors &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/4047\/aufedersein-lip-syncher\/#more-4047\" class=\"more-link\">Read more<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8230; and now back to our regularly scheduled program &#8211; sorry for the technical difficulties!
