{"id":6521,"date":"2009-01-13T05:31:55","date_gmt":"2009-01-13T12:31:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=6521"},"modified":"2009-01-15T06:13:38","modified_gmt":"2009-01-15T13:13:38","slug":"more-arguements-in-favor-of-ma-bell","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/6521\/more-arguements-in-favor-of-ma-bell\/","title":{"rendered":"More Arguments in  Favor of Ma Bell."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Guess who woke up full of passion, piss and vinegar?<\/p>\n<p>Shiver me timbers, it&#8217;s GenuineChris.\u00a0\u00a0 So, let&#8217;s talk 1.0, 2.0 and stuff.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NEVER<\/strong> did I say&#8211;or advocate&#8211;that it&#8217;s acceptable to burn through clients.\u00a0 You can AFFORD to when you have 1.0 skills.\u00a0 But it&#8217;s wasteful, stupid and inefficient.\u00a0 So, get this: I said I&#8217;ve been wasteful stupid and inefficient in the past.\u00a0 Who hasn&#8217;t?\u00a0 Who admits it?\u00a0 You find people to honor.\u00a0 To help, to serve.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NEVER<\/strong> do I say that you list anything, work with anyone.\u00a0 INITIATING a conversation doesn&#8217;t obligate you to take junk listings or work with mentally ill drama queens.\u00a0 You&#8217;re looking for the BEST AND MOST PROFITABLE people to sell to.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NEVER<\/strong> did I&#8211;or will I&#8211;say that &#8220;cold calling was the ONLY way that I generate business.&#8221;\u00a0\u00a0 Fact is, I adovocate &#8220;deliberate connecting,&#8221; first, THEN cold calling.\u00a0\u00a0 Connect with, and build a Brian Brady proof fence around EVERYONE that you know.\u00a0 EVERYONE that you interact with.\u00a0 (By the way, a Brian Brady proof fence would be a magnificent thing).\u00a0\u00a0 Connect, DELIBERATELY.\u00a0 A call to your top 400 people once a quarter.\u00a0 That&#8217;s just: 133 calls\/month.\u00a0 Or ~40 calls a week.\u00a0 Or ~8 calls a day.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 And it&#8217;s unobtrusive, and if you do it serving them&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;you&#8217;ll never starve.<\/p>\n<p>Most people won&#8217;t even do that.\u00a0\u00a0 I dig the drama, the tension, and that&#8217;s why I like honing myself as a &#8220;cold&#8221; caller.\u00a0 I do it to build my ability to connect with people as much as anything else.\u00a0 Fact is, I&#8217;m persistent, I&#8217;m Rocky Balboa.\u00a0 I get my face beat in but I keep coming back for another round.\u00a0 And the fact is, I call people, in roughly the order:<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n-People that know, like trust and seek me out<\/strong>: every 30 days.\u00a0 There are 45 people on this list.\u00a0 And I talk to them as often as I can, and I make it a point to honor all of them.\u00a0 Never forget the people that have helped.\u00a0 Be present and ready to give them a %%^&amp; referral.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n-People that know me and recognize me. <\/strong> Every 90 days, a CONVERSATION. \u00a0 Today?\u00a0 We&#8217;re at about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/6521\/more-arguements-in-favor-of-ma-bell\/#more-6521\" class=\"more-link\">Read more<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Guess who woke up full of passion, piss and vinegar?
