{"id":7975,"date":"2009-04-20T09:54:36","date_gmt":"2009-04-20T16:54:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=7975"},"modified":"2009-04-20T09:54:36","modified_gmt":"2009-04-20T16:54:36","slug":"no-matter-how-good-you-get-you-can-always-get-better","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/7975\/no-matter-how-good-you-get-you-can-always-get-better\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;No Matter How Good You Get, You Can Always Get Better&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8230; and that&#8217;s the exciting part.&#8221;\u00a0 End Quote.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s a peek into the mind of the man who arguably will go down as the most dominant athlete of all time &#8211; Tiger Woods.<\/p>\n<p>For those of you who aren&#8217;t golf fans, let me rewind a few years.\u00a0 Tiger Woods was firmly entrenched as the #1 player in golf.\u00a0 And by firmly entrenched, let&#8217;s just say that the #2 player in the world couldn&#8217;t even carry Tiger&#8217;s bag.<\/p>\n<p>Yet, at the height of his dominance, Woods shockingly fired his &#8220;swing coach&#8221; and <a title=\"Tiger underwent major swing reconstruction\" href=\"http:\/\/sports.espn.go.com\/golf\/news\/story?id=1946259\" target=\"_blank\">re-engineered his entire mechanical approach to the game<\/a>.\u00a0 Virtually everyone in golf thought he was nuts.\u00a0 And the results were far from immediate.\u00a0 In fact, <a title=\"Confident Sabbatini starts feud with Woods\" href=\"http:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/sport\/golf\/ustour\/2312982\/Confident-Sabbatini-starts-feud-with-Woods.html\" target=\"_blank\">some players on the PGA Tour even began referring to Tiger as &#8220;beatable&#8221;<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We all know what happened next&#8230; he won last year&#8217;s US Open with what basically amounted to a broken leg.\u00a0 Woods refers to this victory as his greatest ever.<\/p>\n<p><object width=\"480\" height=\"385\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/Bo95mUZiAVU&#038;hl=en&#038;fs=1&#038;color1=0x5d1719&#038;color2=0xcd311b\"\/><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\"\/><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\"\/><\/object><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the thing:\u00a0 Tiger Woods doesn&#8217;t share his secrets of success with his peers.\u00a0 Any golfer looking to supplant Tiger as the world&#8217;s greatest player is going to have to figure it out for himself.<\/p>\n<p>But for some reason, the sharpest minds in the real estate industry are willing to share what makes them successful with the rest of us.\u00a0 Here are some of the questions I asked myself before committing the time and money to attend <a title=\"Bloodhound Blog Unchained\" href=\"http:\/\/unchained.bloodhoundrealty.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Unchained<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Can you create your own website without any help from anyone?<\/li>\n<li>If so, how long does it take you to publish something worth seeing?<\/li>\n<li>Are you ranking for the keywords your prospects are Googling?<\/li>\n<li>Are your systems outdated and archaic?<\/li>\n<li>Is there someone in your market who&#8217;s about to catch and pass you because they know more than you do?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Here&#8217;s another Tiger Woods quote from early in his career:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Second sucks.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>If you live within 500 miles of Phoenix and you&#8217;re not committed to attending Unchained, chances are good there&#8217;s someone down the street who will be nosing up alongside you very soon.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll be honest with you &#8211; I get the feeling my competitors are crawling up in the fetal position right now&#8230; cutting costs and wondering where <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/7975\/no-matter-how-good-you-get-you-can-always-get-better\/#more-7975\" class=\"more-link\">Read more<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8230; and that&#8217;s the exciting part.&#8221;\u00a0 End Quote.
