{"id":8463,"date":"2009-05-15T10:50:33","date_gmt":"2009-05-15T17:50:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=8463"},"modified":"2009-05-15T10:50:33","modified_gmt":"2009-05-15T17:50:33","slug":"unchained-freedom-friends-keep-friends-in-the-business","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/8463\/unchained-freedom-friends-keep-friends-in-the-business\/","title":{"rendered":"Unchained Freedom &#8220;Friends Keep Friends In The Business&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As I was driving back to <span class=\"misspell\">Las<\/span> Vegas after a full week of hanging out with the Bloodhound crew at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=8332\" target=\"_self\">Unchained<\/a>, my mind was racing to get a grasp on all of the new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=8261\" target=\"_self\">real estate marketing<\/a> possibilities that I could achieve by the end of the year.<\/p>\n<p>The confidence I gained through the relationships built at Unchained was all I needed to fully execute my online marketing plans.<\/p>\n<p>I believe that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=7890\">everyone is an expert at something<\/a>, and we all have a ton to learn from each other.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=8111\"><span class=\"misspell\">Scenius<\/span><\/a> sessions at Unchained were a great example of this concept:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>After a full day of building blogs, Eric Blackwell, Ryan Hartman and I stayed up until 3 am discussing some <a title=\"Eric Blackwell SEO\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ericonsearch.com\/search-engine-marketing-more-than-just-seo\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"misspell\">SEO<\/span><\/a> <span class=\"misspell\">strategery<\/span> for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=7738\" target=\"_self\"><span class=\"misspell\">Battleback<\/span>.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Greg showed me how simple it would be to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=7179\">syndicate my mortgage content<\/a> on all of my real estate agents&#8217; blogs with just a little bit of technical savvy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Brad Coy and Brian Brady helped me figure out how to easily integrate a Twitter or <span class=\"misspell\">Facebook<\/span> presence into my weekly relationship building routines without having to spend too much time being social.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Al Lorenz and I talked about the benefits of owning the social media platforms that our clients and referral partners participate on.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Sean Purcell&#8217;s brainstorming session over a $100 casino chip got me excited about top of mind sales and branding tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"misspell\">Kerry<\/span> <span class=\"misspell\">Melcher&#8217;s<\/span> &#8220;Small Town Phoenix Living&#8221; reminded me of how important it is to connect with the emotional needs that may impact our clients&#8217; decisions to do business with us.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Scott <span class=\"misspell\">Cowan<\/span> and I compared our local markets and shared similar opinions about how much online social networking really matters in the long run.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Scott <span class=\"misspell\">Schang<\/span> and Mark Green opened my eyes to the power of holding online <span class=\"misspell\">webinars<\/span> for the purpose of building a loyal database.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I could go on and on about all of the great conversations that I had at Unchained.<\/p>\n<p>My main objective for that week was to fill in a few technical gaps with my blogging skills.\u00a0 As Greg has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=7022\" target=\"_blank\">mentioned<\/a> many times, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/?p=6242\" target=\"_blank\">real estate professionals have a publishing problem<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There are so many ideas that I haven&#8217;t been able to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloodhoundrealty.com\/BloodhoundBlog\/8463\/unchained-freedom-friends-keep-friends-in-the-business\/#more-8463\" class=\"more-link\">Read more<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As I was driving back to Las Vegas after a full week of hanging out with the Bloodhound crew at Unchained, my mind was racing to get a grasp on all of the new real estate marketing possibilities that I could achieve by the end of the year.
